Welcome to the Audit Division’s website. This website is designed to provide information regarding our mission and purpose, who we are, how to contact us, fraud, waste and abuse, the audit and reporting process and the benefits of an audit.

The Audit Division conducts audits and reviews which are designed to protect the assets and revenues and safeguard the integrity of the Maryland- National Capital Park & Planning Commission. Our audits and reviews follow the performance audits standards of Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS), as promulgated by the Government Accountability Office (GAO).

The Division is accountable to the Secretary-Treasurer and the Audit Committee.
