March 31 and April 2, 2008
Two public workshops will be held on March 31, 2008, 6:30-9:00 p.m. at Suitland High School, Suitland, Maryland, and April 2, 2008, 6:30-9:00 p.m. at Eleanor Roosevelt High School, Greenbelt, Maryland. January 28, 2008
Fatimah Hasan joined the Master Plan of Transportation Project Team as Master Plan of Transportation Public Outreach Coordinator. Ms Hasan will be available to provide briefings and presentations on the process, substance and goals of the Master Plan of Transportation to civic, community and stakeholder organizations and groups in Prince George's County.

January 17, 2008
Transportation Planning Section staff presented a synopsis of the upcoming Countywide Master Plan of Transportation process and substance to the monthly meeting of the Prince George's County Municipal Association at the MNCPPC Equestrian Center.

November 26 and 28, 2007
The Planning Department will conduct Master Plan of Transportation Focus Group sessions as the first stage of its Public Participation Program. The focus group sessions will solicit the fundamental transportation planning concerns and issues that are to be considered for the development of the baseline scenario at the beginning of the plan process.

October 9, 2007
The Prince George's County Council authorized the re-initiation of the Countywide Master Plan of Transportation.

October – November 2007
The Transportation Planning Section, Countywide Planning Division, completed installation and initial validation work on TransForM, a significantly upgraded travel demand forecasting model that will be used in the preparation, refinement and analysis of transportation network options during the preparation and completion of the Master Plan of Transportation.

September 27, 2007
The Prince George's County Planning Department, MNCPPC, briefed the Transportation, Housing and Environment Committee of the Prince George's County Council on the proposed re-initiation of the Countywide Master Plan of Transportation.

May 30, 2007
The Prince George’s County Planning Board, MNCPPC, voted to request that the County Council authorize re-initiation of the Countywide Master Plan of Transportation.
