Highlights and News Brief
July 15, 2008 – The District Council proposed amendments to the adopted sector plan and endorsed SMA by Resolution CR-70-2008 and directed that a second joint public hearing be held to receive public comments only on the proposed amendments.
June 10, 2008 – The District Council held a worksession to review Planning Board recommendations and generally endorsed most of the recommendations with some proposed revisions and amendments.
April 24, 2008 - The Planning Board adopted the sector plan and endorsed the SMA by resolution PGCPB No. 08-55. The adopted plan was transmitted to the County Council for final action.

November 1, 2007 - The Prince George's County Planning Board granted permission to print the Preliminary Plan and Proposed Sectional Map Amendment(SMA)

March 10, 21, and 29, 2007 - Three community workshops were held to identify community issues, concerns and visions. Read the Summary of Workshop Findings.
March 6, 2007 - The County Council approved the initiation of the project and the Goals, Concepts and Guidelines with Resolution CR-11-2007.
February 8, 2007 – The Prince George’s County Planning Board approved the transmittal of the draft Resolution of Initiation and the Preliminary Goals, Concepts, Guidelines and Proposed Public Participation Program to the District Council.
