Central US 1 Corridor Sector Plan and Sectional Map Amendment

The goal of this project is to develop a new sector plan and associated Sectional (Zoning) Map Amendment for the portion of the US 1 Corridor located in the City of College Park. This plan will build upon and update the 2002 College Park/US 1 Corridor Sector Plan and Sectional Map Amendment, implement the 2002 General Plan, incorporate recommendations from functional area master plans including the Green Infrastructure Plan, and address issues relating to land use, development pressure, urban design, and transportation. This effort will follow the 18-month planning process established by the County Council in 2005.

This page will be constantly updated with project status, notice of upcoming meetings, documents produced by the planning team, and other information. Please be sure to stop by from time to time.
