Subregion 4

Heart of Prince George's
Subregion 4 Master Plan

The Subregion 4 Master Plan is being undertaken to build a cohesive vision for the established communities in Prince George’s County. The Subregion 4 Master Plan includes the communities located between the District of Columbia boundary (Southern and Eastern Avenues to the west), the Capital Beltway (east), US 50 (north), and the Suitland Parkway (south). The master plan will be a tool for balancing future growth and development in Subregion 4 while formalizing county policies as they relate to transportation, the environment, public facilities, economic development, housing, revitalization, urban design, and historic preservation. The two-year master plan process is intended to facilitate a dialogue among neighbors, business owners, investors, and civic leaders to learn and exchange ideas together with the intention of creating a cohesive vision. For more information contact the project manager.
