    THE MARYLAND-NATIONAL CAPITAL PARK AND PLANNING COMMISSION (M-NCPPC) is seeking applications and nominations from the Maryland Washington Regional District (Montgomery and Prince George’s Counties) to serve on the Merit System Board. The Merit System Board is composed of three members, knowledgeable and experienced in human resources administration and appointed by the M-NCPPC for four year-terms. The Merit System Board is the highest level appellate Board within the Commission for hearing employee appeals. Responsibilities include, making recommendations to the Commission regarding the Merit System; prepare and recommend Merit System Rules and Regulations; and prepare and review compensation and classification plans.
