Operation
Care
The
primary mission of the Maryland-National
Capital Park Police, Prince George's County Division, is to protect
the rights of all persons utilizing the M-NCPPC park system,
keep them free from criminal acts, secure their possessions
in a peaceful environment, and protect and safeguard the
facilities of the M-NCPPC.
In
keeping with the changing trends of policing, and to
help
maximize our Police Service to the community, this
division has expanded its policing practices to include
The Problem
Oriented Policing philosophy. Under this new concept
this division has developed "Operation Care" to
address the needs of the parks and community."Operation
Care" is a program designed to work in partnership
with the community in solving problems in the parks. In
order for "Operation Care" to be successful,
this agency will rely on YOU, the community, to work
hand-in-hand
with US to reach a solution. We need your eyes, ears
and suggestions to make it work. Did
