A Retirement Counseling session provides:
- Assistance with completing the necessary paperwork,
- Detailed explanations of the retirement options offered by the ERS,
- A free Notary Public service for completing the retirement application,
- Answers to all retirement questions, and
- Guidance through the entire retirement process.
This session is not required, but highly recommended. Spouses or other interested parties are welcome to attend.
Two months prior to retirement, members should call the office to schedule an appointment for a retirement counseling session.
