Pools Reopening Plan

Outdoor pools will be open to the public on Wednesday, July 1, 2020. With the ability to open our outdoor pools, comes the responsibility to open safely and under strict guidelines. The health and safety of our staff and guests visiting our pools and facilities remains our highest priority. M-NCPPC is taking the following precautions as directed by our state and local government and health officials for the safety of our staff and patrons.

Please keep in mind that all indoor facilities remain closed. This includes Allentown Splash, Tennis & Fitness Park (Indoor), Fairland Sports and Aquatics Complex, Prince George’s Sports and Learning Complex, Rollingcrest-Chillum Splash Pool, Theresa Banks Memorial Aquatics Center, and the Southern Area Aquatic Recreation Complex. Additionally, our Splash Pads, Wading Pools, Slides, and other features remain closed during this initial opening period.

Please sign up for our Nixle notification service to stay informed of all updates on the Department’s Aquatics operations and services. Please contact any of our pools or our Help Desk directly with questions or needs for clarification on any of our new procedures.
