David Brosch has focused most of his artistic efforts in the last few years producing monochromatic and full-color etchings and linocuts using fairly traditional techniques. This show will include limited edition hand-pulled prints and some of the plates and blocks from which the plates were pulled. The viewer will see how full-color prints are the result of multiple press runs and will see the intermediate stages of each artwork. The show will have a preponderance of landscapes, but there will be other subject matter that has inspired Brosch. David Brosch also teaches printmaking at Montpelier Arts Center.
