In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, join M-NCPPC Department of Parks and Recreation’s College Park Aviation Museum and Airport, as we honor Latinas in aviation at our 2nd Annual Latinas in Aviation Global Festival. Watch as Latina pilots and professionals featured in the Latinas in Aviation book fly into College Park Airport and share their unique experiences and passion for aviation. This one-of-kind event gives you the opportunity to meet and hear from contributing authors while learning about the magic of aviation.

Latinas in Aviation was published in August 2020. The book chronicles 22 Latinas as they share their journeys into aviation industry. Latinas are ready to return to College Park, host a book giveaway, participate in panels sharing their stories, hold mentoring circles, and share much more with our community. This program will add to the legacy of “firsts” at the College Park Airport as Latina pilots and professionals “fly-in” to the airport.
