Living History Series: Harriet Quimby, America's First Aviatrix

Watch Harriet Quimby fly into the College Park Airport! Actress Sara Sincell portrays the first woman to gain her pilots license in America and the first woman to fly across the English Channel. Sincell’s brings to life the story of aviatrix, artist, and activist Harriet Quimby during a 35-minute living history demonstration. Guests will have the opportunity to interact with Quimby during and after the show. 

After the show, the Museum is hosting a 30-minute "Women in Aviation" tour highlighting the roles women have played in aviation history. 

This program is great for all ages! Admission to the fly-in and show is Free. This series of programs is proudly sponsored by the Field of First Foundation, Inc. Tickets are not required but encouraged
