[ARCHIVED] Prince George’s Best Dance Crew Goes Virtual with Teen Soloist Competition

Do you have the moves to win it all? Get ready to show us your moves at our virtual solo hip-hop dance competition for teen dancers. Prince George’s Best Dance Crew is an annual distinctive dance competition that provides young dancers the opportunity to showcase the artistry and technique of the many styles and flairs of Hip Hop dance. 

This year, we will be taking the competition virtually. Dancers are invited to submit a video audition for a solo virtual dance competition. Up to eight (8), solo hip hop dancers will be selected to record their dance routine at the Publick Playhouse the weekend of February 6 and 7, 2021. The final videos will be adjudicated and a virtual showcase will be presented online on Friday, March 19 at 7 pm. Competition is open to dancers ages 11 to 18.

Prizes

Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three highest-scoring solo dancers and one will be named “The Virtual Prince George’s Best Hip Hop Dancer”

  • 1st place: $300
  • 2nd place: $200
  • 3rd place: $100

Video Submission: November 2, 2020, through January 5, 2021.
