M-NCPPC Department of Parks and Recreation, Prince George’s County Announces
Martin Luther King Holiday Schedule
Riversdale, MD – The Department of Parks and Recreation, Prince George’s County, part of The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission, announces programming for the Martin Luther King holiday. The administrative offices will be closed on Monday, January 18.
Facilities that are open to the public include:
- Regional Parks
- Playgrounds
- Trails
- Indoor pools
- Sports facilities: Ice rinks, Prince George’s Sports & Learning Complex, Sugar Ray Leonard Boxing Center, Golf courses, Trap & Skeet, athletic fields, Tennis courts
Gatherings are limited to 10 people. Visitors must stay six feet apart and wear face coverings at all times. Park visitors are encouraged to bring their own wipes and hand sanitizer and clean their hands before and after use of shared surfaces, such as benches and playground equipment.
