Requirements

M-NCPPC requires submission of an online application before the position’s closing date, unless the position is advertised as Continuous. Continuous positions may close at any time after the required advertising commitment. Applicants must submit detailed and complete applications, as well as comprehensive answers to Supplemental Questions, to assist in determining eligibility for the position. Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications for the position to advance to the next recruitment stage. Resumes are optional supplemental documents, and not a substitution for the online application. We do not accept applications or resumes via hard-copy, email, or facsimile.

Volunteer Opportunities

Have you ever thought about volunteering, but weren’t sure what to do or how to get started? M-NCPPC offers a wide range of “close-to-home” volunteer opportunities for individuals, groups, families, teenagers, and adults. The success of many of our programs and events depends directly on the efforts of our volunteers!

And there’s a bonus: volunteering can be fun.

Options

Individuals age 13 and older can find volunteer opportunities all year round in recreation programs and park facilities in either Montgomery Parks or Department of Parks and Recreation, Prince George’s County. Whether you are seeking to fulfill your Student Service Learning requirement for public high school graduation, working with neighbors on an environmental project, or exploring ways to satisfy community service hours, we’ve got several ways for you to get involved.
