Montgomery Planning releases in-depth analysis of the county’s growth

Wheaton, Md. – The Montgomery County Planning Department, part of The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC), released its Community Trends Report, a comprehensive study that provides the most detailed look to date at Montgomery County’s demographic shifts, land use patterns, housing conditions, and community characteristics from 2010 to 2022 across 37 defined Community Trend Areas (CTAs) that cover the entirety of the county’s 507 square miles.
