Facilities and operations in Prince George’s County will close at 1:00 p.m.
Facilities and operations in Montgomery County will close at 2:00 p.m.
- Park Police are to report as scheduled
- Telework-eligible staff working on-site today will receive one (1) hour of administrative leave (beginning at the time of the closure for their respective work location) for commuting purposes and are expected to continue their work at home.
- Staff who are already teleworking today are not affected by the closure(s) and are expected to continue teleworking their regularly scheduled hours.
- Staff who are unable to telework—either because their position is not suitable for telework, they do not have the necessary IT equipment, or they experience a technical issue—will receive administrative leave for their scheduled work hours impacted during the closure (unless on pre-approved leave).
- Staff may take accrued leave with supervisory approval.
